Got a .45 caliber Hi Point Carbine in for "service" today.
I'll just say that I'm not doing anything but sending it in for repair, but after looking at it closely, my opinion of them is even more solidified,
they are a piece of excrement.
The internal frame itself is broken, cracked in two. The 'frame' is made of what appears to be zamac, there is no quality to the manufacture, there is no strength to the design, I am not impressed to say the least.
Lifetime warranty or not, I can't depend on it with this kind of construction, or this history of breakage.
